ABOUT MATT

Matt Kruth grew up in the North Hills and is a 10 year resident of Ross Township. He and his wife Danielle have been married for 11 years and are the proud parents of their two boys, Holden (12) and Harrison (10) who attend North Hills School District. Matt has been a devoted literacy teacher to students in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for the last twenty years. Being a family man and an educator provides Matt with a unique understanding of the issues and difficulties that individuals, families, and children are facing in today's society.

Matt’s career as an educator has afforded him the opportunity to be a leader, a coach, a mentor, and an effective communicator to students, parents, district staff, and community leaders. These skillsets highlight Matt’s abilities and qualification to serve as your State Representative and deliver results to the residents of the 20th Legislative District.

When Matt isn’t teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family. Whether it’s skiing with his boys in the winter, frequenting local events and parks in the spring and summer, attending his boys' football games in the fall, or a date night with his wife--Matt has a deep commitment to his family. He has been a vocal advocate in his community for neighbors and residents, and has also devoted countless hours to supporting many community and youth programs.
